Animal Medical Associates Planning to Close

We are very sad to announce that, effective July 31, 2017, we will be closing Animal Medical Associates.

Over the last 10 years, I have been privileged to be part of your family, watching kittens and puppies come into your lives, and sometimes helping elderly beloved pets leave this world.  We have shared laughs and tears as well as times of bounty and those of difficulty.

It was not easily that I came to this decision.  As many of you know, the last several years have been challenging for me personally, having experienced a number of health issues as well as the loss of several family members, including my mother - who lived with me during the last years of her life.

As such, I have come to realize that the time and energy required to run a full time practice is not something I can continue to sustain.  After over 20 years of practicing veterinary medicine, I have decided to retire from practice ownership.

Animal Medical Associates will continue to operate until late July should you need to schedule an appointment, want to pick up medical records or medications, or just would like to stop by for a visit.  After that point in time, basic medical records will be available through your PetSites account - please let us know if you need help setting that up.

I have very much enjoyed my time at Animal Medical Associates, and getting to know you, your families, and your four legged/furry/scaled/and feathered friends.  I wish you all many years of health, happiness, and prosperity.  Life is short, and can be changed forever in an instant -- make the most of it!  Thank you for the friendship and trust we have shared over the last decade.

Sincerely,

Sandra Mitchell, DVM, DABVP

Animal Medical Associates is now closed.
