Veterinary Nurse

Hi - my name is Jamie and I have been at Animal Medical Associates since August of 2016.

I have always been passionate about all types of animals and am currently working towards becoming a licensed veterinary technician.

I currently live in Southern Maine with my family and a multitude of furred, scaly, and feathered friends.  I enjoy horseback riding, reading, and spending quality time with my children.

Tori - Volunteer Intern - Animal Medical AssociatesTori

 Veterinary Nurse and Receptionist

Hi, my name is Tori. I have been with Animal Medical Associates since I graduated from UNE in May, however I have worked with Dr. Mitchell as an intern during my free time intermittently over the past couple of years.  I have always loved animals, and the time I've spend working with Dr. Mitchell and alongside our staff has only assured me that the path I have chosen is exactly what I want to do with my life.  I have applied to vet school and am currently waiting to hear back with a decision.  In the meantime, at home, I have a cat named CeCe, a dog named Shea, a hamster named Hami, and I have also recently adopted one of our Angel Fund animals - Duke, the green-winged macaw - and they keep me pretty busy!  I love all animals, and especially love the variety of animals I have been able to work with at Animal Medical Associates, but I do have a special place in my heart for marine life.  My goal is to move south where I currently plan to get my DVM, and become certified to work with aquatics, specifically marine mammals.  My job at Animal Medical Associates has given me great opportunity to work towards my goal, and is providing me with a great environment to expand upon my knowledge every day alongside the warm and friendly staff here at Animal Medical Associates.
